Booking Terms
When you book and pay for a cruise, you confirm that:
- The details you provided to us are correct.
- You understand that the skipper is responsible for the safe passage of the vessel and safety of its passengers, and so you must follow any safety instructions given.
- You accept that the skipper must obey the responsible service of alcohol.
- You will not smoke onboard or bring illicit drugs aboard.
- You agree to our Cancellation Policy.
- You agree to our Waiver / Indemnity.
- You agree to us holding the information collected in accordance with our Privacy Statement.
- You acknowledge responsibility for conveying these terms to your co-passenger and that they accept these booking terms.
Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations by Us
Cancellations are sometimes necessary, due to bad weather, unforeseen vessel malfunction or maintenance, or skipper sickness or injury.Usually, we’ll let you know at least 2 days prior to your cruise date, though it could be less. One of these unlikely events could even occur while on your cruise.
We apologise sincerely should a cancellation need to be made. If we cancel your booking or terminate your cruise prematurely due to one of these events, a full refund will be given, or we can rebook you to another day.If we cancel the booking or terminate a cruise early due to illegal behaviour, excessive alcohol, smoking or illicit drugs, there will be no refund.
2. Cancellations by the Customer
You don’t need to give us a reason to cancel, you might just want to defer your cruise to a sunnier day. However, our cancellation policy is:
- Up to 2 weeks prior to your cruise date – you can defer your cruise to another date or ask for a full refund without any penalty.
- From 2 weeks up to 2 days prior to your cruise date, you can cancel your cruise for a full refund less $100.
- If you cancel the day before your cruise day, or on the cruise day itself or are a ‘no-show’, then no refund is payable.
- You must send any request by email.
Waiver / Indemnity
You and your co-passenger understand and agree:
- That any possessions brought onboard are the responsibility and at the risk of the passenger.
- That any off-boat activities are undertaken at the participant’s own risk and legal liability.
- That you and your co-passenger indemnify Time Out Cruises from any resulting loss or liabilities.
Privacy Statement
Yes, we keep a record of the information you provide, for marine compliance purposes and so we can provide a tailored service to you on your cruise day.
No, we don’t hold any financial information at all. Your booking payment goes through an Australian-wide and trusted third party and they just send us the money.
Any refunds we pay back to you, such as for cancellations, simply go through a reversal of that payment process.
